About Doyle
The name “Doyle” is merely the Cantonese pronunciation of “silverfish”.
Silverfish is a common insect, found all over the world, living in the shades of human lives. They mostly consume old fabrics, books and paper scrap.
Members of the Doyle piano trio are just as common and ordinary as silverfish, but we also behave alike : crawling through— munching on— and assimilating the essence of great works of the extraordinary artists from the past.
蠧魚是世界各地常見的昆蟲，通常圍繞人類生活岀現，以舊衣、舊書、紙屑為食。
蠧魚鋼琴三重奏的成員一方面和蠧魚一樣平平無奇隨處可見，另一方面亦和蠧魚一樣，喜愛閲覽、咀嚼、吸收過往偉大藝術家的作品。他們不求成就非凡，只求謙卑作實，真誠對待音樂。
英文名稱 “Doyle” 純粹為「蠧魚」的廣東話音譯。
